But they’ve also been at the forefront of judgemental parents and cynical media representations of the ‘lazy gamer’. The Omen film shifts that negative narrative to finally recognise gamers for who they really are — an elite group with sharper reflexes, incredible hand-eye coordination, masterful multitaskers and major team players.
